| The excursion begins in the village of Skálavík. After walking along a path for around 2 hours, you discover Borgin with the only house in this remote spot. It is a cosy home, built over 100 years ago. It has no modern conveniences and is lit by oil lamps and heated by the kitchen. A hearty meal will be served, before you head off into the countryside again. There is a colony of storm petrels and it is not unusual to see seals romping near the coast.
